Cisco Secure Client is a VPN solution that provides secure, encrypted network connectivity, enabling users to access critical business applications while on the go. Compatible with Android 4.X+ devices, Cisco Secure Client automatically adapts its VPN tunneling method based on network conditions, using TLS and DTLS for efficient and secure connections. The app also supports network roaming, which ensures continuous connectivity even after network changes, device standby, or IP address shifts. The Cisco Umbrella module provides DNS-layer protection for Android devices (version 6.0.1 and later) when enabled. Cisco Secure Client is specifically licensed for use by Cisco headend customers with active Plus, Apex, or VPN-only licenses and is not available for non-Cisco equipment/software.
